The cylindrical ultrasonic flowmeter achieves accurate gas flow measurement by calculating the ratio of transit-time differences between ultrasonic paths entering the pipeline.
The flowmeter has intrinsic safety certification (ATEX/IECEx) and is approved for custody transfer (MID 2014/32/EU, OIML R137).
This solution features low power consumption and simple, fast installation and commissioning, and it can operate stably even in the most demanding applications.
Additional measured variables such as speed of sound and signal-to-noise ratio can be used for equipment condition monitoring. Pressure and temperature sensors can also be connected for integrated volume-flow conversion.
