Technical Highlights
LNG high-pressure pumps and LNG low-pressure pumps are also called submerged pumps. The pump body and motor are connected as one unit and installed in the pump well of a 55-meter-deep LNG storage tank, immersed in LNG at -162°C. They are one of the core pieces of equipment for LNG receiving-station export.
High-pressure pump shafts are typical slender shafts, with a length-to-diameter ratio greater than 25. Their rigidity is relatively poor, and any problem can directly affect receiving-station operations. Therefore, monitoring the pump operating condition is especially important.
